Challenge
Roasting great coffee depends on precise, repeatable control of heat, airflow and time. Roasters needed a tool that makes developing and refining roast profiles faster, clearer and more consistent.
What we did
We designed and developed the roasting development console, the control and data interface roasters use to build, monitor and fine-tune roast profiles in real time. We worked on the physical controls, the on-screen experience and the engineering behind them, with manufacturing partners in the UK and China.
Outcome
A roasting development console that gives roasters precise, repeatable control over every roast, making roast development faster, clearer and more consistent. Beyond the design, we built the hardware and negotiated manufacturing, taking the product all the way to production. It will be launching soon.
