We helped Faculty AI, one of the UK’s most prominent AI companies. Together, we explored how new interaction patterns and design experiences can be developed for AI-first applications. This is a time of rethinking how we interact with intelligent systems that simulate, predict, and adapt to human needs.
Due to the highly confidential nature of this project, we are unable to share specific details. The project was led by Tom Oliver and Andy Brookes, with a key highlight being the close collaboration with the DMX team at Faculty. Throughout the process, we engaged with multiple teams, sharing insights and working together to achieve the best results.
INNOVATION AND STRATEGY
Research-driven design thinking, technology exploration, and strategic guidance to help clients identify opportunities and navigate complex challenges.
We helped Plumis with their initial development, research, design, and prototyping. Plumis is a patented fire protection system for the kitchen, where most domestic fires start. The first product in a new class of near-invisible, easy-to-retrofit fire suppression devices, Plumis is installed between the tap and the sink. It connects to existing plumbing via a pump which, when activated, creates a fine water mist. This mist is an effective suppressant for both electrical fires and chip pan fires.
ENGINEERING AND PROTOTYPING
We bridge the gap between concept and reality through expert engineering and rapid prototyping. Our technical capabilities span mechanical design, electronics integration, and manufacturing optimisation. We create functional prototypes that validate designs, test user interactions, and prove commercial viability before full-scale production. This iterative approach minimises risk and ensures final products perform flawlessly in real-world conditions
MANUFACTURING AND IMLPEMENTATION
We support clients through the entire manufacturing journey, from supplier selection to quality control. Our extensive network of international manufacturing partners and deep understanding of production processes ensure smooth transitions from prototype to market. We provide ongoing support for regulatory compliance, cost optimisation, and scaling strategies, ensuring successful product launches and sustained commercial success.
